Hidenao Kimura, M.D.

Hidenao Kimura, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine specialist and a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Kimura completed his undergraduate studies as a premed and biology major at Georgetown University and went on to earn his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1992. He further honed his medical expertise through an internship and residency at Johns Hopkins and UC San Francisco School of Medicine.

With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kimura now practices internal medicine in Tualatin, Oregon, within the scenic Portland metropolitan area. His approach to care embodies the principles of a medical home, fostering partnerships between patients, clinicians, medical staff, and families. This comprehensive care model extends beyond the traditional boundaries of a clinical practice, encompassing specialty care, educational services, and family support to ensure holistic patient care.

Dr. Kimura’s decision to become a physician was fueled by a profound desire to provide care and support to individuals facing illness, finding deep fulfillment in this mission. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Kimura enjoys an active lifestyle, including tennis, rowing, cycling, running, equestrian activities, and skiing. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife, exploring farmer’s markets, dining out, visiting museums, and attending classical concerts around the world.
